Itinerary

Pickup from Bagdogra Airport / Siliguri / NJP Railway Station by your driver and drive towards the Indo–Bhutanese border town of Phuentsholing, scenic drive through lush tea estates.

Meet & greet upon reaching Phuentsholing and complete your Bhutan entry immigration process.

After completing all formalities, our Indian vehicle will drop you off at your Phuentsholing hotel.

After checking in to the hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or explore evening activities on your own.

Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel.

You will be received by our Guide / Representative at the hotel and will be taken to the immigration counter to complete your formalities.

Once the permit is issued, your journey will start towards Thimphu.

En route sightseeing as follows:

Chuzom, the meeting point of two rivers Chuzom.

Chukha Dam View Point.

Kharbandi Gumba.

Milarepa Tower, officially named Sangye Migyur Ling Lhakhang.

Reach Thimphu in the evening.

After breakfast proceed to Punakha day excursion via Dochula.
-
En route visit DochuLa – a mountain pass leading further into the Punakha Valley. It offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of Eastern Himalayan mountain ranges. The view is especially scenic on clear, winter days with snow-capped mountains forming a majestic backdrop to the tranquility of the 108 chortens gracing the mountain pass.

On arrival at Punakha, proceed for local sightseeing:

Punakha Dzong (Entry fee of ₹500 per person), also known as “the palace of great happiness”.

Suspension Bridge.

Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu View Point.

Optional: You can also enjoy white-water river rafting in the Punakha River for an hour at an optional cost. Approximate cost: ₹10,000–₹12,000 per boat. Capacity: 6 passengers in 1 boat.

Return to Thimphu in the evening.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Paro.

Drive along the scenic route following the Wang Chhu and Paro Chhu rivers, passing through the picturesque landscapes of Bhutan.

Continue through Paro Town towards the northern end of the valley.

En route, visit Chuzom, the confluence point of the Paro Chhu (Pachu) and Wang Chhu rivers.

At Chuzom, view the four distinctive types of stupas representing Nepali, Rigsum Gompo, Tibetan and Bhutanese architectural styles.

Learn about the historical significance of these stupas, commissioned during the reign of Third King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, along with Ashi Kesang Choden Wangchuck, as protective structures for travellers passing through the junction.

Continue the drive to Paro and check in to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Paro.

After breakfast, proceed to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) for a scenic trekking excursion to this iconic Himalayan landmark.

The hike to the monastery takes approximately 3 hours, followed by approximately 2 hours for the descent to the base point.

Ponies are available for hire up to the cafeteria for guests who prefer assistance during the uphill journey.

Monastery entry fee: ₹1,000 per person, applicable if guests wish to enter the monastery.

Alternative option: Guests may visit Chele La Pass instead of undertaking the Tiger’s Nest trek. Additional vehicle charges apply:

SUV: ₹3,000 per vehicle.

Ertiga / H1: ₹4,000 per vehicle.

Coaster: ₹6,500 per vehicle.

Return to the hotel after the excursion.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for local sightseeing in Paro.

Visit Paro Airport Viewpoint for a scenic view of the airport and surrounding valley.

Visit Ta Dzong – entry fee of ₹500 per person.

Walk down the scenic trail from Ta Dzong to visit the historic Rinpung Dzong.

Visit Nyamai Zam Footbridge, where guests may enjoy a photo session in traditional Bhutanese attire by the riverbank of Paro, available at an additional cost.

Continue the journey to Phuentsholing, passing through the beautiful and mystical town of Gedu, located at approximately 9,000 ft above sea level.

En route, visit Chukha Dam and, time permitting, Kharbandi Monastery.

On arrival in Phuentsholing, check in to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Under unavoidable circumstances or natural calamities, itineraries may be changed or reversed; however, all inclusions in the itinerary will remain the same.
Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the date of travel, 30% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

If cancellation is made within 30 days before the date of travel, total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

In the event of unforeseen weather conditions, union issues, government restrictions, or any other circumstances beyond human control, certain trips or activities may be cancelled. In such cases, alternate feasible options will be provided. However, a cash refund will not be available.
